Indian by origin, and born and raised in the Middle East, Rydhima was inspired by her roots to add that modern, eclectic, colorful and luxurious feel to her designs.

Given that her father always worked in the construction business, Rydhima was already familiar with 3d renderings, and after a while of being in charge of R/terior Studio based in Los Angeles, California, she decided to start using them.

But before that, Rydhima did her own renderings, which would take a lot of time for her to do, and would also often leave her clients without a clear vision of the placement of furniture and decoration on their projects.

Currently, with the help of 3D renderings, R/terior Studio and Rydhima are able to have better time-management and work more efficiently, while pleasing their clients and truly helping them visualize the final result.

The Four Ways Rydhima Has Improved Her Design Process Through Renders

#1 - Offering a luxury service to clients

Ever since started her business, Rydhima knew she would want to incorporate professional 3D rendering services at some point.

Like many other designers, she first tried to do it by herself, but it would not materialize the luxury service she wanted to provide to her clients, which is one that includes all services from the beginning of the project.

When she realized this, Rydhima started her hunt to find a good 3D rendering company, and that’s when she found us and we worked on our first project together which was a beautiful, modern living room.

“I always wanted my firm to be one that is all inclusive, where I don't have to nickel and dime my client for every element. It's a luxury service and I want my clients to be treated that way. I always knew that the renderings or some sort of a visual guide so that they can understand their designs, it has to be a part of my offering.”

3D renderings helped Rydhima achieve that luxurious feel she wanted her business to have.

#2 - Reduced Back and Forth

One of the biggest impacts that 3D renderings have brought to Rydhima, is time efficiency.

Before, she used to set up the boards herself and she could invest several hours doing that and then another couple hours reviewing it and making changes.

Since she started her journey with us, that has changed, given that we implement a simple 3-step process where the decision-making part is easy.

“It definitely cuts the time down drastically. It took me 10 hours literally to put a whole board together and i'm trying to position it in a way where I can, you know, clearly get my point conveyed across… You are working it, you are trying to make it look clear and neat, and then,  even though you send that, you have all the questions and the answers back and forth (from clients).”

Now that  she is using 3D renderings, Rydhima has more time to work on other aspects of her design process, or on other projects.

#3 - Visualizing the Client’s idea

If a design process lacks 3D renderings, probably clients don’t know how their project will actually look like and this can be stressful for both client and the designer.

3D renderings provide the opportunity for the client to get a glimpse at what their space will be like and make them trust their designer’s process.

For Rydhima, it has eased the relationship with the client in terms of trust and time:

“It is easy for me to just go with 100% "this is the final design that I'm proposing, obviously we are open to changes, but right now after all the back and forth, this is the final mix of options that I want to present to you.””

On the other hand, the renderings also help interior designers visualize the actual finishes and decide whether it is going to work or not.

“Even before I showed it to the client, I had to see it, and your renderings really helped me grasp everything properly, make the necessary tweaks. You know, I just make a call on several of those things to be like "this finish is not gonna work, we need to change this finish, we need to change this color.””

#4 - Benefits for a Fast-growing Business

3D renderings offer many benefits for interior designers’ businesses; like helping visualize the client’s idea, reducing time wasted in miscommunication, and managing time more effectively.

For Rydhima, there are 3 main benefits to using 3D renderings with a company like Duke Renders.

First, it’s good to know that your renderings are being designed by  real people that accommodate your needs.

“You are a living breathing team, that I get to see and speak with, as in when I need to, based on my schedule, because our schedules are so crazy and it's really nice that you and your team are so accommodating when it comes to meetings and attending to us...So your team is definitely amazing when it comes to that.”

Another benefit that Rydhima finds in using 3D renderings with Duke, are the timely responses.

“I don't wanna be waiting until the very last minute to get the rendering and then it shows 25 things in there which are not done correctly and to have to go back and forth. So constant communication is important and that is what I experienced with you and your team, which was so important to me and I really appreciated that.”

The third big benefit Rydhima considers is being able to delegate such an important aspect of her design process:

“I'm working as a solo entrepreneur, as of right now I don't have a massive team yet. So a lot of my work, I work with you know folks like yourself you know where you guys are like an extension of my own team like I mentioned. Developing relationships with companies like yourself it's just a good long-term investment to make.”

In 3D Renders We Trust

Are you anxious to get your first 3D render so that you can wow your client?

Before that, I’d like to touch on a few key points.

On the part of the designer, 3D rendering speeds up the whole process and makes it more efficient. It pushes you to come up with design choices much sooner and have everything ready before construction.

More importantly, you minimize the odds of clients having second thoughts after construction. If they don’t like something, it’ll be easy to change the 3D model.

Moreover, 3D renders help you build rapport and get clients excited about a project. In return, they’ll be ready to evangelize about your work and how much you helped them transform the look and feel of their home.

With that said, getting into 3D rendering isn’t as easy as it seems. Book your strategy call with Duke Renders and we’ll be happy to guide you through it.

At Duke Renders, we take your design ideas and turn them into photorealistic 3D renders. That means you can see what your ideas will look like before you take the first steps towards transforming a room.
