" My inspiration was the juxtaposition of the clean straight lines mixed with feminine purpose of the room. This design is for a women’s hospital. Specifically, a postpartum couple seeking a calming and serene hospital stay as they welcome the newest addition to their family. Therefore the Hospital Suite represents the beautiful union of feminine and masculine creating a gender-neutral balance.
The room isn't overly feminine but has the right amount of soft touches. Like the playfulness of the local artist artwork and bold brass pendants. It's grand, sophisticated tile to floor walls are my favorite parts of this design. It's symphonic and unexpected.
I would love for the audience to capture my homage to mothers. This is conveyed throughout the room. For instance, the curve of the Camora sofa is comparable of a woman's body; even down to the double Bellevue brass pendants. Every detail has the occupant in mind!"
