" This project is for a Senior Living Community, talk about living in luxury in the later years of life! We love how light and airy this space is while keeping everything feeling warm and intimate at the same time.

We wanted to create a space with a modernized flare on traditional Santa Barbara Spanish style.  This community is on the ocean front so incorporating a coastal element was also something we wanted to achieve. We designed a traditional plaster fireplace and rich blue paneling with a custom built-in to bring that cozy feel alive.  The patterned terrazzo tile sets a beautiful stage making residence feel like the sand is truly beneath their feet. We brought in elements of wood and brass which complement each other so well. The large scale wood lanterns and the ceiling coffer with beams and inset wallcovering bring your eyes up. When making our furniture selections we wanted to use a mix of traditional lines, some straight edges and a few pieces with an organic shape to them. In making these selections we not only paid attention to the overall style of our pieces, but we also had to keep in mind our end user and provide them with a product that would stand the test of time!"
