“The kitchen design is a balance between modern while including some traditional heritage/elements of the house. This house was built in 1912 with timeless charm, strong bones, elegant woodwork including existing plaster ceiling trims in other parts of the house.

I wanted to include this stunning detail in the kitchen and add a bit of drama to match my clients' spirit. The ceiling trim design is my absolute favorite part of this design, it pulls your eyes up, adding an elegant drama and tying to the other ceiling details of the home.

The second favorite is the black hood and natural wood trim to bring a warm and tie into the wood tones of the floor.

My client is a family of 3 with each member powerful within their own right. They had a specific vision,
discerning taste, and generally know exactly what they want in the design.”
