"Our favorite architectural element would probably be the curved staircase that seems to “duck” into the wine cellar. Because this was a commercial job, the client wanted the security of having their rare selections of wines and spirits protected behind glass but on display. As guests walk up the curved staircase, they can enjoy feeling like they are walking into the wine cellar.
The private lounge design was commissioned for an international, commercial client.
We wanted an area to sit at the bar or have friendly conversations with comfortable living room-style seating vignettes in this particular part of the building. The client also requested we give areas where clients could sit at a lovely table privately to either enjoy a meal or have a small meeting or perhaps work on their laptops.
This client wanted to bring the coastal blue colors inside, hence the blue color scheme. Of course, we need it to be very durable but yet comfortable and inviting. The nano doors lead out to a future patio along the exterior of the building that overlooks a lake. We wanted to have a gentle flow from the interior to the outside. All of the finishes and selections were of a high-quality and luxurious feel.
We were very detail-oriented, from the choice of doors to the curved staircase design highlighting the beautiful wine cellar. These elements give way to a charming yet exclusively luxurious atmosphere. We are confident that the businessmen and women utilizing the space will feel comfortable entertaining associates or meeting with colleagues to discuss strategies."
