“This is a family home. This full service design client is southern and traditional. She requested a “model home” aesthetic with upgraded finishes.
The two story wainscoting is the game changer in this entryway. Close second is the upgraded exterior door! I chose these elements to ground her traditional aesthetic but the choice to go with both art and a mirror, says there’s more to this story. I like to break the rules!
My favorite thing about this rendering is that it helps me sell the client on a solid design concept. We agreed on the other 4 spaces in her home we’re working on but the entry way table left us at “odds” and the rendering quickly snatched us back on track! Ps. The entry table in the rendering is not the option we’ll be going with! I chose to render her choice, and in the end it paid off.”
