About her…

Rochelle Samuels is the Founder of La Rochelle Home. With her colorful and extensive background ranging from engineering and MBA in Luxury Marketing to her role as a Business Consultant, Rochelle possesses expert knowledge to transform a home or a commercial space into a work of art.

La Rochelle provides full Interior Design services from room decoration to full-gut renovation projects. The development of La Rochelle Home was itself the culmination of hard work and a dream, and now, Rochelle strives to help clients to transform their dreams into reality.

What Makes Her Unique?

I see design as a perfect marriage of science, math, and art.

SCIENCE: I spent hours studying proper circulation, body movements, and functions and how external factors such as plants and natural colors impact your living environment and personal sensations. Currently studying biophilic sciences.

MATH: Given my very technical background

(Engineer and Banker), my design approach is first about functionality, comfort, ease of use, and fit.

ART: this is the unexpected, the surprising elements, and innovation of thought in the designs. So all in all I don't really have a style in the traditional sense but creating very intentional spaces, where everything has a purpose and function.

I love organic and ergonomics systems and flows.

Fun Facts

Has a passion for traveling: Visited 68+ plus countries, lived in Milan, Italy and Paris.
Love love yoga and ultimately want to merge both forms of creating space into a design style.
Family of all girls. 6 sisters.

Big Wins

+ HelloFresh - 30,000 sq feet manufacturing facility redesign in response to Covid-19. Delivered furniture, fixture & equipment specifications (FF&E) plan, new layout, construction and permit drawing sets.

+ 30 Residential Projects - kitchen and bath renovations, furniture planning, and color consultancy. Project scopes including space planning and layout, project management, FF&E specifications, and buying. Completed 30 projects from concept to installation (budgets ranging from $5k to $1.5mm).
