“Our clients wanted a departure from the popular all white kitchen. They wanted the space to have personality and to feel special.
Our client’s love for a variety of blue shades was the jumping off point for the design. Our goal was to give them the blues they love, but in a way that they might not have imagined.
The entire design was centered around our love for this blue ombre mosaic tile. We also incorporated the large scale floral wallpaper which gave us the opportunity to pull in more colors to the overall palette. We moved many of the larger appliances to an adjacent butler’s pantry which gave us the opportunity to incorporate a larger window over the sink to mirror the shape of the window in the banquette area. I love that while the dynamic finishes provide impactful statements, there is still a lightness in the space.
Never be afraid to go for a bold finish that you love. If it scares you a little, then it’s worth doing!.”
