“This home is for a newly retired client who is building their forever home on their ranch property in Texas. We are calling this project the "Unexpected Texas Ranch" because our client wanted just that-a home that is not your traditional Texas ranch style. Our clients are true Texans, who raise cattle & horses on their property so we proposed that the clients go with polished concrete floors throughout the home, so they didn't have to worry about the wear & tear of ranch life & bring in the warmth of wood in unexpected ways. You'll notice the beams in the master bathroom & a lighter wood tone vanity for this master bathroom. My favorite aspect of this room is the tub wall, where we are doing a full stone wall surrounding the window. This draws your eye out to the beautiful property, which is where we drew inspiration for the design of the entire home.
