“What is unique about this project is that it is not your typical commercial workspace. I especially love that it overlooks a large private patio; natural and soft lamp lighting versus harsh overhead lighting is more typical for commercial workspaces.

The client is investing in a private social club. Members will use the private commercial area for entertaining, small meetings, and workspace. The bar function will allow members and friends to catch up over morning coffee and an evening cocktail!

The client wants to keep with the traditional rustic feel of the building but one with an upscale look. We decided to use some updated Chesterfield style sofas, mixing them with some performance-grade fabric chairs. We needed comfortable seating for small groups to gather and areas for the clientele to enjoy a quick breakfast or lunch. The large windows plan tables and chair arrangements for members to set up laptops and work comfortably. We wanted the space to feel less commercial and more like the clientele were at home. The clients wanted a less contemporary, more traditional, up-to-date, classic, and comfortable space. And, of course, the space needed to be designed for long-lasting durability.
